Southbound Trail Paving Complete

A new paved section of the Ohio to Eric trail via HOOT leads through Licking County to Delaware County. The new section opened in early June 2022! A ribbon cutting ceremony at Newell Recreation Preserve will be held on June 25, 2022 as a part of Trailapalooza 2022!


Round Trip Routes South from Centerburg

  • 8 miles to Newell Recreation Preserve

  • 20 miles to Sunbury Square

  • 32 miles to Genoa McNamara Park

  • 41 miles to Westerville Hanby Park

Visit the Trail Towns

Centerburg

Centerburg sits at the geographic center of Ohio. Exit the trail at Clayton Street and head to the center of the village. Centerburg is home to several small shops and a variety of places to grab a bite to eat.

Mount Vernon

Mount Vernon is at the northernmost point of the trail. Head a few blocks north on Main Street to explore one of Ohio's best hometowns. The downtown offers a nice collection of shops, restaurants, and historical buildings.
